  1. Xavier Zamora, 20, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to fatally shooting a postal worker in 2019. Zamora shot a postal worker that was interfering in a family fight that occurred in the neighborhood near Tower and 98th. He will be facing up to 22 years in prison, according to his plea deal. (Albuquerque Journal)
  2. The United States Postal Service has ranked Albuquerque as the 21st worst city for dog attacks in the nation. Half of the 39 letter carriers that were attacked last year in New Mexico occurred in Albuquerque. More than 5,400 postal workers were attacked last year across the country. (KOB 4)
  3. A health alert was issued for Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. The alert was necessary due to blowing dust creating issues for residents with respiratory conditions. Click for information regarding health alerts and steps that residents can take to limit exposure. (KOB 4)
