Farmington's New Senior Living Community Draws 300+ for Sneak Peek

Three Rivers Estates, a refreshing option for older adults who may need a helping hand with daily tasks, opens this fall

Three Rivers Estates Senior Living and Memory Care, located at 981 W. Broadway, Farmington, is scheduled to open this fall, but on Sunday, April 24, the Mission Senior Living community welcomed 300+ guests for a sneak peek, including members of the Founders Club – Three Rivers Estates’ soon-to-be first residents.

Guests viewed floor plans and designs detailing the 124-unit two-story assisted living and memory care community; toured studio, one- and two-bedroom model apartments and talked with leaders from Mission Senior Living about what sets Three Rivers Estates apart from other senior living and assisted living communities.

Designed first and foremost as a welcoming home for seniors living in the Four Corners region, Three Rivers Estates is a refreshing option for older adults who may need a hand with daily tasks, explained longtime Farmington resident and Administrator Steve Lien.

“People spend decades building and living a life that’s theirs and theirs alone; they shouldn’t have to give that up because with age comes, inevitably, some limitation,” said Lien. “Three Rivers Estates is simplified living for older adults. We offer assistance with daily tasks, such as medication management, bathing or getting dressed, so residents can maintain their independence safely, and with dignity, for as long as possible.”

According to Lien, living at Three Rivers Estates offers the freedom, resources, and social support that’s sometimes missing when living on one’s own in a house, condo or apartment. "Here, there’s always an open seat among friends in the dining room and there is a variety of social, creative, and intellectual pursuits available daily. Our life enrichment director arranges group outings, workshops, and entertainment opportunities for those interested.”

Chef-prepared meals, served tableside, housekeeping/maintenance, and assisted transportation are among the services that make life easier. “That residents will never again have to change another lightbulb, hang a picture, figure out the cable TV or cook dinner are priceless perks,” said Lien.

Additional amenities include a bistro and coffee nook, movie theater and concierge, barber shop and beauty salon, a wellness center and a private office for visiting physicians. In addition to spacious indoor gathering areas, the community will have enclosed outdoor courtyards with seating areas and raised garden boxes for resident gardeners.

A limited number of opportunities are available to secure the best rates and favorite floor plans. Learn more about the Founders Club by calling Steve or Jessica at (505) 325-9859 or visiting https://threeriversestates.net.

Three Rivers Estates’ Reflections memory care neighborhood is located securely within the community and offers 32 private studio and semi-private apartment homes, along with a dining room. Its Ready, Set, Go program promises compassionate and individualized care, services and activities for individuals with Alzheimer’s and other dementia diseases.

From Mission Senior Living, the following leaders were present: President Darryl Fisher, Vice President of Operations Sarah Green, Vice President of Marketing and Sales Daniel Garcia; Director of Operations Kaitlin Peitz; Regional Director Wellness Development Mary Ingham; President of MSL Construction Stacy Reed, and, representing Three Rivers Estates’ sister communities: administrators Sandi Pangerl, Laura Higman, Nathalie Francois and Nate Williams, and Director of Sales Trish Trenoweth, and Samantha Loudermill.

Also in attendance were Farmington Mayor Nate Duckett, City Councillor Sean Sharer, New Mexico State Senator William Sharer, and San Juan County Regional President of the Alzheimer’s Association Tori Rohrer.
