Donors adopt specific APS families, buying requested items for kids and parents, with gift exchanges planned the week before Christmas.

Iranian man says ICE detention in NM is unlawful (koat.com) — A man detained by ICE is asking a federal judge in Albuquerque to rule that his confinement at the Torrance County Detention Facility is unlawful. His lawyers argue immigration authorities ignored an earlier ruling allowing him to live in California and may be holding others under an expired contract. The outcome could affect how ICE operates in New Mexico detention centers.
