Here are the top three stories in Albuquerque today:
- Bernalillo County is asking for community feedback on possible improvements to a portion of 2nd Street. The current project proposal includes new sidewalks, lighting, and resurfacing. The discussion will be on Jun. 7 at the Mountain View Community Center starting at 5:30 p.m. (KRQE News 13)
- The 35th annual Festival Flamenco will be from Jun. 11 through Jun. 18. This free festival will feature over 20 performances, theatre shows, youth programming, and lectures. The festival is meant to celebrate the culture that connects New Mexico with the rest of the global community through flamenco. (KRQE News 13)
- The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Tuesday night. The incident occurred at a home on 8th Street. The department responded to a call to discover two dead individuals with gunshot wounds. This is the department's 49th homicide investigation of 2022. (KOB)
