Here are the top three stories today in Albuquerque:
- Some Albuquerque residents are frustrated with illegal fireworks. The residents report that they submitted numerous reports with the city's 311 app but nobody responded to the incidents. The city held professional fireworks shows at Balloon Fiesta Park on Monday night. (KOB 4)
- Albuquerque was at the top of the state's latest Cannabis Control Division report. According to the report, the city constituted the vast majority of cannabis sales for the entire state. Albuquerque saw $7 million in cannabis sales last month. (KOB 4)
- ABQ BioPark removed a marijuana plant from Tingley Beach on Tuesday. The plant was growing near one of the ponds alongside a walkway. BioPark officials removed the plant almost immediately after it was reported. The park reminds residents that they can report something using the city's 311 services. (KRQE News 13)
