- Albuquerque's Sandia National Labs is working with NASA to create a microgrid for a possible lunar base. The laboratory will design a microgrid with mining and processing facilities. The project's mining center will be able to produce water, oxygen, rocket fuel, and other materials necessary to explore the moon. (KRQE News 13)
- The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 800 block of Cardenas Drive. One individual died at the scene due to at least one gunshot wound in his torso. Anyone with information related to the shooting is being directed to contact APD Crime Stoppers. (KOB)
- HopeWorks will no longer be eligible for contracts with the City of Albuquerque. The decision is due to an outstanding $155,000 debt the contractor has with the city. The debt occurred when the contractor reportedly defrauded the city by double-billing for an Assisted Outpatient Treatment program. (Albuquerque Journal)
