Here are the top three stories in Albuquerque today:
- A man was stabbed to death outside of a bar in downtown Albuquerque on Saturday night. The incident happened at the 400 block of Central Avenue SW. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are still investigating the incident as of Sunday evening. (KOAT New Mexico)
- Saturday saw the City of Albuquerque take the plunge! It was the third annual Al'burr'querque Polar Bear Plunge. Residents dove into the frigid waters at the Sierra Vista Pool to welcome the new year. All proceeds from the event went to helping children in the community. (KOB 4)
- This weekend, Albuquerque saw the return of Cars and Coffee. On Saturday morning, car enthusiasts flocked to Satellite Coffee off of Jefferson. There, they got the opportunity to check out all sorts of cars while enjoying their coffee. The event was temporarily shut down early last year after some drivers performed dangerous stunts.
