- Albuquerque's milk banks report a noticeable increase in community demand during the ongoing baby formula shortage. Lactation specialists at Lovelace Women's Hospital are recommending mothers to visit the Human Milk Repository of New Mexico for help during the shortage. The milk bank collects and processes breast milk before distributing it to mothers in need. (KOAT New Mexico)
- The Albuquerque Police Department opened two separate investigations into two overnight deaths on Saturday. The first incident took place in the 4600 block of Plume Road NW and involved a man dying from cuts on his arms and neck. The second incident, which occurred near General Patch Street NE and Chico Road NE, involved a man dying from a gunshot wound. (KOAT New Mexico)
- The Albuquerque community participated in the national Stamp Out Hunger campaign on Saturday. The food drive is meant to supply non-perishables to the Roadrunner Food Bank for distribution to those facing food insecurity. Supplies can still be dropped off at local post offices. (KRQE News 13)
