- The three individuals who died during a murder-suicide on Sunday have been identified by the Albuquerque Police Department. The two victims were 19-year-old Alexia Rael and 16-year-old Mario Salgado-Rosales, and the suspect believed to have shot both teens and himself has been identified as 52-year-old Bradley Wallin. The department is still actively investigating the incident. (KRQE News 13)
- The Bernalillo County Animal Care and Resource Center is seeking volunteers to become part of its foster program. Selected foster parents will be supplied with food, toys, beds, and other supplies necessary to take care of younger-aged foster animals. The shelter is also seeking on-site volunteers and donations. - WisePies and Make-a-Wish New Mexico are teaming up for the second annual benefit pizza run this weekend. The run will begin this Sunday, May 15, at 7:00 a.m. and include a one-mile fun run, a 5k, and a 10k. Registration for the event is now closed, but you can still support the fundraiser by donating online. (KOB)
