Here are the top three stories today in Albuquerque:

  1. New Mexico State Fair has announced this year's concert lineup. The shows will be on Sept. 9 and Sept. 10 then from Sept. 15 through Sept. 18. Martina McBride, Dwight Yoakam, and Mark Chesnutt will be performing this year. The concerts will be held at Albuquerque's Tingley Coliseum. (KOAT New Mexico)
  2. The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred near Chico Road and Grove Street NE. The department responded to the area after a body was found. The department is still investigating and has not yet released the victim's identity. (KOB 4)
  3. The "Noodle Man" has returned to Albuquerque. Dream Kasestatad is the star of the Amazon Prime short called "The Noodle Man" and is known for his traveling Thai food pop-up, Pranom. He will be in the city through Jul. 10 at various locations. Click for the full schedule. (KRQE News 13)

  • The Albuquerque Police Department is asking the public for information regarding an overnight shooting in Southwest Albuquerque. Two people were injured and one person was killed during the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department immediately. (Albuquerque Police Department via Facebook)
