Here are the top three stories in Albuquerque today:

  1. Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office will be featured on a new "Live PD" spin-off series. The series titled "On Patrol" will reportedly be more transparent. The series will also follow departments in Nevada, Florida, South Carolina, Indiana, and New Jersey. The city and county were featured on "Cops" but it brought bad publicity to the region.   2. The City of Albuquerque is relaunching its before and after-school programming called "Play Plus". Registration begins on Jul. 25 and has a $10 fee. There will be a weekly cost of $15 for one child and $25 for three or more children enrolled in the program. (KRQE News 13)
  3. United Way has awarded funds to health and human service agencies in Bernalillo County. The funds are part of a $2 million grant program. The money is meant to serve New Mexico families to increase family stability, education, food, medicine, and housing acquisition. Click for a complete list of recipients. (Rio Rancho Observer)
