- Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller has tapped Lawrence Rael as the city's permanent Chief Administrative Officer. Rael has been in a temporary position since Sarita Nair left the position in April. The announcement was made on Friday and the City Council will now have to vote to approve Rael's appointment. (Albuquerque Journal)
- The Albuquerque Native American Housing & Home Fair will be on Wednesday, Jun. 29, and Thursday, Jun. 30. The event will be at APS Berna Facio Professional Development Complex starting at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday and at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. The event will have numerous organizations on-site to answer questions and accept applications. (Albuquerque Public Schools)
- Repeat offender Jennifer Christensen will not be remaining behind bars until her Jun. 28 trial. Christensen is known for repeatedly stealing cars and fleeing from the Albuquerque Police Department. Her most recent incident involved a stolen car near Downs on Jun. 9. She will be attending an in-patient drug treatment program instead of remaining in jail. (KRQE News 13)
