- The Albuquerque community is mourning the tragic loss of four individuals during a sudden Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office helicopter crash that occurred on Saturday. First responders lined I-25 on Sunday afternoon for a motorcade delivering the victims to the Office of the Medical Investigator. Undersheriff Larry Koren, Lieutenant Fred Beers, Deputy Michael Levison, and Bernalillo County Fire Rescue Specialist Matthew King were killed during the incident. (KRQE News 13)

- The Albuquerque Police Department has arrested a man accused of stealing his mother's gun. Orion Folwell allegedly stole the gun and traded it for fentanyl, according to the department. The mother is a department officer and the gun was department-issued. He has been charged with larceny and the possession of a dangerous drug. (KRQE News 13)
