Monday
All Babylon and West Babylon School District schools are closed from Mon., Mar. 25 to Fri., Mar. 29 for Spring Break/Passover Recess. Enjoy your break, students!

A New York State Safe Boating Course will be offered by Suffolk County Marine Bureau officer Mike Axelson at Babylon Public Library on Monday, Mar. 25 at 6 p.m. The course will satisfy the new Suffolk County requirement which will be going into effect as of November 6, 2013. The course is free for all patrons; however those 18 years or over must pay a fee of $10.00 to New York State upon completion of the course. Registrants must be at least 10 years of age at the beginning of the course.
Tuesday
The Babylon Village Board of Trustees will hold a Public Meeting at Babylon Village Hall at 8 p.m.

A Public Hearing will be held at Babylon Village Hall at 7 p.m. to discuss building additions and construction at the Long Island Yacht Club. All are welcome to attend the hearing.
Wednesday
The Babylon Public Library will host its Board of Trustees Budget Meeting at 6:30 p.m. for the upcoming fiscal year. All are welcome to attend.
Thursday
The Babylon Village Arts Council will continue its movie series with A Single Man, starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore, at Babylon Public Library. After the death of his longtime partner, a British college professor in Los Angeles struggles to find meaning in his life. As he dwells on the past, he begins to contemplate suicide. A series of events and encounters will lead him to question if there really is a meaning to his life after all. Steven Kureczko will lead a discussion immediately following the showing of the film, which starts at 6:45 p.m.
Friday
Babylon Village Hall offices will be closed starting at noon for Good Friday. Offices will reopen for business on Monday, April 1.
