Last Chance: Run or Walk for Breast Cancer Memorial Event

Sign up by tomorrow for the 12th Annual Judi Shesh Memorial 5K Run/Walk at the Bay Shore YMCA for the lower entry fee of $20. Entries after May 25 go up to $25 for adults, and $5 for children under 10. The walk was started by family members of the Bay Shore resident, many of whom live in Babylon, and who have seen the event grow over the years.

The run/walk is dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, and proceeds go to local families affected by the disease.The Judi Shesh Memorial Breast Cancer Foundation runs the timed event, with awards for age group finishers. The run starts at 8:30 a.m. Breast cancer survivors who participate can wear special sashes during the race.
