Original Story: New self-serve yogurt shop Swirls and Twirls will be celebrating the opening of its eighth location in West Babylon this weekend with a party-like event on Saturday, including music, giveaways, face painting, balloon sculptures and free frozen yogurt for the community.

The new West Babylon frozen yogurt shop opened last month and will be holding their celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., allowing customers to get up to 10 ounces of free yogurt during the event.

Owners Tom and Terri DeRespino said they want the shop to become a real part of the West Babylon community.

“We don’t just want to give the people of West Babylon a self-serve frozen yogurt shop,” says Terri. “We want to become a part of and contribute to the communit by supporting local fundraisers, offering promotions, discounts, fun things to do and giving away free stuff along the way.”

The new frozen yogurt shop is located at 80 Route 109, West Babylon in the Shop Rite Shopping Center.
