Swirls and Twirls Now Open in West Babylon
Long Island yogurt chain opens its eighth location on Route 109.
The yogurt craze sweeping the nation continues to come to the Babylon area as Long Island chain Swirls and Twirls has recently opened a location in West Babylon.
The yogurt chain's West Babylon location is the eighth opened and takes a spot in the ShopRite shopping center on Route 109 next to GameStop.
The shop, which offers premium yogurt flavors at self-serve areas as well as other healthy treats, will hold its official grand opening celebration in early April. The celebration bash, which Patch will have more on in the coming weeks, will feature free yogurt, face painting and live music.

The West Babylon shop joins Massapequa Park, West Islip, Oceanside, Patchogue, Nesconset, Levittown and Greenlawn as Long Island towns with their own Swirls and Twirls. Centereach, Port Jefferson Station, Jericho and Massapequa are expected to receive their own shop during the upcoming year.
