The Great South Bay Audubon Society is hosting a nature walk at Belmont Lake State Park. 8:00 a.m. Exit 38 off S.S. Pkwy. Meet in parking lot east side of lake.

Check out an independent movie at the Babylon Public Library's Indie Film Series at 6:45 p.m. Dylan Skolnick, co-director of the Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington, will lead a discussion after the screening of the movie, "Carnage."  24 S. Carll Ave.

Babylon Village Board of Trustees will hold their at 8 p.m., and at 7 p.m. a hearing will be held on a .Babylon Village Hall, 153 W Main St.

Wednesday

Check out a free concert in downtown Babylon Village. The will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Astoria Federal Savings Bank, 180 W Main S. This concert will feature a virtuoso harmonica player, Jia-Ye He.

Saturday

Know anyone with a new puppy or overdue for your cat's shots? From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Last Hope Animal Rescue will be holding a for dogs and cats at Babylon Town Animal Shelter, 51 Lamar St., West Babylon.

All Long Island pet owners are eligible; no appointment necessary, but all pets must be at least 4 months old. Dogs must be leashed, and cats need to be in carriers.
