WATCH: Argyle Lake Mostly Returns to Normal
Water levels at Babylon's favorite lake return to normal, but excess mud by fountain remains.

The Village of Babylon rushed to work after the dirt surrounding the newly installed fish ladder gave way last week, lowering Argyle Lake and forcing crews to fix it starting Easter Weekend.
The repairs appear to be nearly completed at the park, with orange cones still warning visitors from approaching the ladder-area for the time being. A muddy, delta-like area on the western most area of the foundtains remains a reminder from the original breach last week.
It didn't bother visitors, who flocked to the park on Tuesday as sunny skies and high temperatures in the 80's brought out the flowers and fun of a summer to come.
