Whiskey Down Diner Announces Plans for Babylon Village Location In 2026

BABYLON VILLAGE, NY — Whiskey Down Diner has announced plans to expand to Babylon Village, with ownership targeting a 2026 opening, according to a recent social media post.
The announcement was shared on New Year’s Eve and quickly drew excitement from diners across Long Island. In the post, ownership thanked the Farmingdale community for its support over the past several years, calling it the foundation that made the expansion possible.
Located on Main Street in Farmingdale, Whiskey Down Diner is known for its specialty burgers and elevated takes on traditional comfort food.

According to the diner, the proposed Babylon Village location would be larger than the original Farmingdale restaurant, while continuing to offer the elements that have made Whiskey Down Diner popular.
Plans for the Babylon Village location must still go through the village approval process. Restaurant staff confirmed the proposed site would be located at 175 E. Main St. in Babylon, but no opening timeline beyond “2026” has been provided.
