Drunken Boater Arrested After Crashing Into Bulkhead: Police
The boat was heading back to a Long Island marina late Saturday night when it crashed, ejecting the driver into the water.

BAY SHORE, NY – A 28-year-old man was arrested on a BWI charge after he crashed a boat into a bulkhead in Bay Shore late Saturday night, police said.
According to police, Michael Camenzuli was operating a 1999 21-foot Sea Ray Express Cruiser in the waters west of Orowoc Creek, returning to the Bay Shore Marina, when he went off course at a high rate of speed and crashed into a bulkhead, launching the boat out of the water and onto land at about 11:37 p.m.
Camenzuli, of Astoria, was ejected from the boat into the water, where he climbed the bulkhead to shore, police said. Marine Bureau officers and Third Precinct officers responded to the scene. Camenzuli was transported via a Bay Shore Rescue ambulance to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of minor injuries. Camenzuli was alone on the boat. There were no other injuries.

Camenzuli was charged with BWI and is scheduled to be arraigned at a later date.
