Bed-Stuy Considers Expanding 'Winter Wonderland' On Marcy Plaza
The local Business Improvement District is asking neighbors whether it should close down part of the street to expand the holiday market.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A holiday Winter Wonderland that transformed Marcy Plaza in Bed-Stuy is set to return this year, possibly with even more space for the holiday festivities.
The Bed-Stuy Gateway Business Improvement District, which runs the winter village, is gathering feedback to prepare for the Nov. 27 return of the holiday market. The village runs every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas on the corner of Fulton Street and Marcy Avenue.
Among the questions from the BID is whether the market should be expanded onto Marcy Avenue to allow more vendors to participate.

The expansion would mean closing Marcy Avenue from Fulton to MacDonough street each weekend, according to the survey.
Neighbors are also asked for their suggestions about the Winter Wonderland.
