Bed-Stuy Man Was Found Dead Rolled In Red Carpet, Cops Say
Police said Anthony Lewis, 27, was the man whose body was rolled in a red carpet and left on a Harlem curb Thursday morning.
NEW YORK CITY — The murdered man rolled up in red carpet and left on a Manhattan curb was Bed-Stuy resident Anthony Lewis, according to police.
Police found Lewis, 27, after a passerby spotted his feet sticking out of the rolled rug on West 145th Street and Frederick Douglas Boulevard in Harlem about 5:50 a.m. Thursday morning.
Lewis, who lived in Bed-Stuy's Tompkins Houses on Park Avenue, is believed to have been murdered, according to police.

The New York Post published video of two men using a Target cart to push Lewis' body, rolled inside the carpet, about 2:30 a.m.
The Medical Examiner had yet to determine the cause of death as of Friday morning and the investigation remains ongoing.
