Bed-Stuy School And Prison Guards Cuffed In Domestic Fights: Cops

A school safety agent is accused of hitting a family member and a corrections officer allegedly scared his girlfriend with a gun, cops said

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Two Bed-Stuy guards — one a school safety agent and the other a corrections officer — found themselves in handcuffs Sunday night for two separate domestic disputes, police said.

Department of Corrections worker Ronnie Mack, 46, stands accused of flashing a gun at his girlfriend and saying, "Get over here," about 4:25 p.m. Sunday afternoon, police said.

The terrified woman called police and Mack was charged with menacing and weapon possession, said police.

A Department of Corrections officer named Ronnie Mack was accused in 2015 of beating a Rikers Island visitor because he was gay, according to a New York Post report.

Later that evening, Nancy Branch, 51, allegedly struck an adult family member in Bed-Stuy's 81st Precinct and was charged with assault about 11:45 p.m., police said.
