Bed-Stuy Smoke Shop Robbed By Thieving Quintet: NYPD

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A Bedford Avenue smoke shop was robbed by a group of five men Monday night, police said.

At just before 7:30 p.m. Monday, a quintet of thieves entered a smoke shop near Bedford and Lexington Avenues in Bed-Stuy, according to police.

The group demanded money and took merchandise from the shop, officials said.

Police said that one member of the group, a man in his 20's, was arrested and is awaiting charges.

The other four, who officials also describe as being in their 20's, fled on foot down Bedford Avenue. Police had no further description of the at-large robbers.
