BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — For people looking to make a career change or to find a new job, it can be difficult to break into a new industry.

To help 'bridge' the gap, Bridge Street Development Corporation, along with support from National Grid, are teaming up to offer Bed-Stuy a chance to learn the basic skills needed to work as an electrician.

The free night-time course runs from this week until Dec. 17 and offers a way to gain experience and work hands on alongside electric pros.
