BROOKLYN, NY — A man was pummeled and mugged on a Brooklyn street by four individuals over the weekend, police said.

On Saturday, around 2:40 p.m., a 31-year-old was walking near Ralph Avenue and Decatur Street in Stuyvesant Heights when four people approached him, according to officials.

The four individuals, described by police as being between 20 and 30 years old, worked together to punch, kick and pummel the man, stealing his cellphone in the process, police said.

First responders rushed the man, who is in stable condition, to Kings County Hospital Center, according to police.

The group was last seen fleeing on foot, heading southbound on Bainbridge Street, cops said.

Authorities are now seeking the public's help in locating the four individuals connected to the crime.

The first person is described as a slim male with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a white tank top, gray sweatpants and blue-and-white sneakers.

The second individual has a medium build and a dark complexion, and was last seen in a black t-shirt, gray shorts with black stripes and black sneakers.

The third person is a slim male with a medium complexion, seen wearing a black t-shirt, orange shorts and blue-and-white sneakers.

The fourth individual has a medium build and a dark complexion, last seen wearing a black hat, a black t-shirt, black shorts and black sneakers.

Police have also released images of four people they believe are connected to the incident.
