Beginning Thursday, Nov. 1, there will be limited subway service on several MTA routes, supplemented by a bus shuttle between Downtown Brooklyn and Midtown.
Attached is the MTA's official Hurricane Recovery Subway Map for those who are planning to return to their regular work schedule.
Please note: There will be no subway service between 34th St in Midtown and Downtown Brooklyn. Also Access-A-Ride today will begin accepting reservations for travel after 12:00pm.

All of the bridges operated by MTA Bridges & Tunnels are open to traffic, except for the Hugh L. Carey and Queens Midtown Tunnels, which will remain closed after suffering extensive flooding.
According to the MTA, it is still too early to say how long it will take to restore the system to full service for the 8.5 million daily MTA commuters. However, Patch will continue to keep you updated surrounding any added service improvements.
