Bellmore Man Auctioned in Women's Empowerment Summit

Paul Patcher, a Bellmore resident and executive director of Long Island Cares, was raffled off in the Fair Media Council's Women's Empowerment Summit.

Paul Patcher, a Bellmore resident and executive director of Long Island Cares, was recently raffled off in the Fair Media Council’s Women’s Empowerment Summit, in which he gave business pointers to the woman who won him.

More than 100 women attended the summit and had a chance to win a mentoring session with one of the CEOs auctioned. More than 20 executives participated in the raffle.

"We wanted to create an event that leveled the playing field through
education and mentoring to inspire women and we definitely achieved our
goal," Jaci Clement, executive director of the Fair Media Council said.

The Fair Media Council is a non-profit organization that
educates businesses, non profits and the public on how to become media savvy.
