• Christmas Day Fire Displaces Family Of 4: FD (patch.com) — Bellmore residents are learning that a Christmas Day fire on Skipper Court has left a family of four temporarily homeless after their two-story house was ruled uninhabitable. About 75 firefighters from Bellmore and neighboring departments quickly contained the living room blaze, and while no one was injured, county fire marshals and police investigators are still determining the cause.
