Letter to the Editor: Family of the Hayes Children Thanks Community
The children's aunt and current caretaker, Kimberly Shepard, said she and her husband are grateful for the support.
To our friends and community:
The enormous amount of love, support and condolences we have received from the community has been most humbling.
The comforting words, thoughts and prayers from the Bellmore citizens and surrounding areas have been unbelievable. The outpour of help and generosity from the school district, community leaders, businesses and individuals is greatly appreciated.
We send our heartfelt thanks to all who gave so generously and have donated their time. There are no words to express the gratitude we feel towards all of you.
