Mepham Valedictorian: Bilal Siddiqui
Siddiqui ranked number one in his competitive senior class.
As Mepham High School's valedictorian of the Class of 2012, Bilal Siddiqui has stood out amongst all the rest. Ranking number one in his extremely competitive senior class is only one of Siddiqui's many distinctions.
He is an AP Scholar with Distinction and has been inducted into the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Science Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and the History Honor Society.
In 2011, he participated in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair where he placed third in Cellular Biology with his research project on melanoma.
This year, he was named an Intel semi-finalist for his project, "Investigating Endogenous Expression 2, 3-dioxygenase in Metastic Melanoma."
Siddiqui will attend Harvard University in the fall, where he will major in Bio Chemistry.
