2nd Man Arrested After Fleeing Fatal Brentwood Hit-And-Run: PD
Two drivers have been arrested after a hit-and-run left a woman dead.
BRENTWOOD, NY– Another driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian dead in Brentwood was arrested Tuesday, according to Suffolk County police.
Jairo Carrillo-Perez, 28, of Brentwood, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death on Wicks Road at approximately 5:10 a.m. on April 15, police said.
Police say Carrillo-Perez was driving a 2004 Honda southbound on Wicks Road when he struck a female pedestrian who was laying in the street after she was hit by a 2020 Toyota Highlander driven by Luis Vasquez.

The woman, who was identified at Alison Pfefferkorn, 41, of Sag Harbor,, was taken by ambulance to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore where she was pronounced dead, police said.
Carrillo-Perez was held overnight at the Third Precinct and was slated for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip.

Yesterday, Luis Vasquez, 59, of Brentwood, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death, police said.
Vasquez was driving a 2020 Toyota Highlander southbound on Wicks Road when he struck the woman who was crossing from east to west. Vasquez fled the scene in the vehicle, police said.
