Man Charged With Public Lewdness After Watching Girls From Window: PD

An Islip Terrace man is accused of committing a lewd act while watching young girls from his window, Suffolk police say.

ISLIP TERRACE, NY — An Islip Terrace man was arrested for committing a lewd act while watching underage girls, Suffolk County police said.

Police said that a family member of two young girls reported that Joseph Zink, 59, was naked and committing a lewd act while watching the girls from the window of his Sunrise Highway home on August 30.

Suffolk police investigated the report and arrested Zink on Monday around 4 p.m., police said.

Zink was charged with public lewdness and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

He is slated to be arraigned on Tuesday at First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
