CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — Suffolk County Police detectives are investigating a shooting in Central Islip Wednesday.
A man was shot on Elm Street at about 5:10 p.m., police said.
The 29-year-old was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. There are no arrests at this time, police said Thursday morning.
