$1M Mega Millions Tickets Sold At 2 Brooklyn Stores

The massive $1.6B prize was won, but not in NYC.

BROOKLYN, NY – Two of the 36 second-prize tickets for Tuesday night's record-setting Mega Millions drawings were sold in Brooklyn.

Stores in Gravesend and New Utrecht dispensed the tickets, which are each worth $1 million, though all eyes were on the massive $1.6 billion jackpot and that is going to just one person who bought a ticket in South Carolina.

The winning numbers were: 5, 28, 62, 65, 70 and Mega Ball 5. The jackpot resets to $40 million for Friday night's drawing.

With all the attention on Mega Millions lately, the Powerball jackpot for Wednesday has quietly reached $620 million.
