BROOKLYN, NY — Police are still searching for answers after a man and woman were found dead inside a Brooklyn apartment last week.

On July 24, the pair were found unresponsive inside an apartment at 640 Ditmas Avenue in Kensington after police were called in to do a wellness check.

The victims are believed to be a 54-year-old woman and a man in his 20s, according to multiple media reports.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the city's medical examiner has not released the exact cause of death.
