BROOKLYN, NY — Police are still searching for answers after a man and woman were found dead inside a Brooklyn apartment last week. On July 24, the pair were found unresponsive inside an apartment at 640 Ditmas Avenue in Kensington after police were called in to do a wellness check. The victims are believed to be a 54-year-old woman and a man in his 20s, according to multiple media reports. Police said the victims had suffered stab wounds. As of Tuesday afternoon, the city's medical examiner has not released the exact cause of death. No arrests have been made, and an investigation remains ongoing.
