2 Kids Hit By Car While Walking In Brooklyn: Police
Two children were injured after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning in Brooklyn, authorities report.
BROOKLYN, NY — Two kids were hit by a car Wednesday morning while walking to school in Brooklyn, authorities said.
The 13-year-old and 12-year-old were hit by a Nissan Minivan near Sixth Avenue and 62nd Street in Sunset Park around 8:08 a.m., according to the NYPD.
First responders took both victims to a nearby hospital for treatment, authorities said.

According to police, the driver, a 44-year-old man, remained on the scene and was issued a summons before being released.
