2nd Man Arrested In Brooklyn Christmas Weekend Rape, Break-In: NYPD
Two men broke into a Brooklyn home before forcing a woman to have sexual intercourse, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A second man accused of breaking into a woman's Brooklyn home and forcing her to have sexual intercourse was arrested this week, police said.
Mohammed Alwi, 25, of Canarsie, faces rape and robbery charges related to the Christmas weekend attack in Brooklyn's 66th Precinct, which covers Borough Park and Kensington.
Alwi — working in concert with 22-year-old Mohammed Izzeddin — broke into a 49-year-old woman's home on Dec. 23, 2023 about 6 p.m. and forced the woman to have sexual intercourse with one of the men, according to the NYPD.

Izzeddin was arrested days later and pleaded not guilty to a slew of charges including rape, robbery and unlawful imprisonment, according to police and court records.
Izzeddin claimed he thought the victim's home was a prostitution establishment, News12 reported.

Police said both men ran after the attack, and the woman was taken to an area hospital, according to the New York Daily News.
