12 Injured In Blaze At Brooklyn Apartment Building, FDNY Says
Twelve people were injured after a fire erupted in a Brooklyn NYCHA building early Wednesday morning, the FDNY said.

BROOKLYN, NY — Twelve people were injured in a blaze that burned through a Brooklyn NYCHA apartment building Wednesday morning, fire officials said.
The fire at 315 Sutter Ave. sparked about 9:50 a.m. on the fourth floor of the high-rise building near Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brownsville, fire officials said.
Nearly 80 firefighters and first responders sped to the scene, fighting the blaze for about 30 minutes until it was brought under control by 10:20 a.m., FDNY officials said.

Twelve civilians were injured in the blaze and hospitalized, officials said. Fire officials didn't say how serious the injuries were.
The fire's cause is still under investigation.
