The mother, a 22-year-old Brooklyn resident, was later found inside the convention center, attending an event, according to authorities.
BROOKLYN, NY — A Brooklyn mom was arrested after she left her child alone in a stroller inside a convention center in New Jersey on Valentine's Day, police said.
The 22-year-old mother has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child after authorities reported that security found an infant left alone inside the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus.
Authorities say the infant was in a stroller in the lobby of the building but before the entrance doors of the actual expo.
