Brooklyn Moped Rider Killed In Collison With Bicyclist: Police
The 48-year-old victim was transported to NYU Langone-Brooklyn Hospital and later succumbed to her injures on Monday, June 17, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 48-year-old woman was killed after the moped she was riding on was hit by a bicyclist, causing her to fatally hit her head on the ground last week, police announced.
On June 14, at around 11 p.m., a bicyclist traveling south at the intersection of 7th Avenue and 68th Street struck the handlebar of the moped that the victim and other individual were riding on, police said.
The collision cause the operator and victim —identified as Aihong Qu — to fall off the vehicle. Qu fell and hit her head on the pavement, police said.

The 48-year-old victim was transported to NYU Langone - Brooklyn Hospital and later succumbed to her injures on Monday, June 17, police said.
There have been no arrests at this time, and an investigation remains ongoing by the NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad.
