Burglars Snatch $35K From Brooklyn Home, Cops Say

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are looking for two burglars who reportedly stole more than $30,000 from a Brooklyn home earlier this month.

The as-yet-unidentified burglars entered a home near Lincoln Avenue and Atlantic Avenue by removing a window on Feb. 9 around 11:30 p.m., police said.

Once inside, the men nabbed a safe that contained about $30,000 in cash and around $5,000 worth of sneakers, NYPD officials said.

After the heist, the duo drove off with their loot in a white sedan, police said.

The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
