Vandals Destroy Crucifix At BK Church In Potential Hate Crime: NYPD
A group of people — including one in "Goth"-like makeup — damaged a stained-glass window and a crucifix at a Mill Basin church, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A quartet of sacrilegious vandals — including one seeming with "goth"-like makeup — destroyed a Brooklyn church's crucifix in what police are investigating as a hate crime.
The vandalism unfolded early Jan. 27 at St. Columba's Church on Kimball Street in Mill Basin, police said.
The four suspects destroyed a stained-glass window and a crucifix on the church property about 2:45 a.m., NYPD officials said.

All four people then ran off, but not before they were spotted on a surveillance camera, officials said.
