Death of NYC Man Ruled A Homicide, Shot In Brooklyn In 2023: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — The shooting of a 25-year-old New York City man in Brooklyn in 2023 has been ruled a homicide, the city's medical examiner announced Wednesday.
Dijon Turner, of the Bronx, suffered a gunshot wound to the head at West 22 Street and Surf Avenue on September 16, 2023, police said.
Turner succumbed to his injuries five months later on Feb. 22, police said.
