Fire Rips Through Brooklyn Catering Hall: FDNY, Reports
A four-alarm blaze burned Paradise Manor catering hall in Borough Park late Tuesday, fire officials said.

BOROUGH PARK, BROOKLYN — A fire ripped through a catering hall in Borough Park late Tuesday, according to the FDNY.
The four-alarm blaze started in Paradise Manor, a three-story catering and banquet hall on New Utrecht Avenue near 58th Street, and spread into neighboring buildings, CBS New York first reported.
About 180 firefighters and first responders battled the blaze, according to the report.

The fire erupted sometime about 7 p.m., ABC7 reported. Flames had consumed much of the building's first and second floors by the time firefighters arrived, according to reports.
Crews finally got the fire under control about 9:30 p.m., the FDNY tweeted.
