Man Arrested In Brooklyn Fatal Stabbing That Left 1 Dead: Police

BROOKLYN, NY — A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged in a fatal stabbing inside a Brooklyn apartment building that left one person dead last week, police announced.

Anthony Sabato has been charged with first and second murder, robbery, and criminal possession of a weapon, among others, police said.

Police found the victim with a stab wound to the chest and was transported to New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The victim's identity has not been released pending family notification, police said.
