Man Arrested For Fatal Christmas Eve Shooting In Brooklyn
The shooter was apprehended by police early Wednesday morning.
BROOKLYN, NY — A 57-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting in Brooklyn on Christmas Eve, police said.
Shamar Williams has also been charged with robbery and criminal possession of a weapon. He was apprehended by police early Wednesday morning.
The deadly shooting happened in front of 182 Belmont Avenue around 9:45 a.m., police said.

Officers found 46-year-old Marcin Iwanowicz with a gunshot wound in the chest. He was initially taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police are still investigating what led up to the shooting.
