Man Assaults Subway Rider In Brooklyn Anti-LGBTQIA+ Attack: Police

The incident happened on July 17​ inside the Rockaway Parkway-Canarsie subway station, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are investigating an alleged hate crime after a unknown man attacked a 31-year-old man inside a Brooklyn subway station last week.

On July 17, at 1:08 p.m., an unidentified man approached the 31-year-old male victim inside the Rockaway Parkway-Canarsie subway station.

The suspect made anti LGBTQIA+ remarks towards the man and struck him multiple times, police said.
