BROOKLYN, NY — A man was discovered dead in a Brooklyn apartment building Thursday afternoon, police said. Phill Cayenne, 38, was found at 159 Bay 29th St. in Bath Beach after a 911 call about 3 p.m. about an unconscious man who needed help, officials said. First responders rushed to the scene, where Cayenne was found unresponsive with bruising to the neck and ultimately declared dead, according to police. Cayenne's roommate, a 40-year-old man, was taken into custody for questioning, according to authorities. However, as of Friday morning, police say no arrests or charges have been made. The official cause of death is also still under investigation, an NYPD spokesperson told Patch.
